This distinctive kitchen remodel will look as though it has evolved over time with a unique blending of rich materials and cabinet styles. The unique space will boast soapstone and marble counters, painted and stained cabinetry, onyx and marble wall tile and a reclaimed stained glass window.

Wilmette, Illinois

The attic in this large, historic, Wilmette home is being completely reclaimed. The new space will include a new theater room, wet bar, seating area, office/study, storage, and full bathroom with a radiant heated floor. On the exterior we've designed a new dormer to accommodate an extended main staircase from the second floor making this luxurious new attic space flow seamlessly with the rest of the home.

East Rogers Park, Chicago

This historic home's addition is being completed in two phases. Phase I includes a single level addition creating a family room, mud room and expanding the existing kitchen and dining area. Phase II will create a second story addition directly above the new construction, which the owners will build onto the home when they are ready.

A fresh kitchen layout that flows with the rest of the home, updated appliances and finishes, as well as a new eating area will greatly improve this, already beautiful, historic home. The kitchen is clearly still under construction, but already looks just like the drawing below!

Lincoln Square, Chicago

The new owners of this property love the location, but didn't love the existing house. GPD designed a new brick home with contextual wood porches on the front and back. These lucky owners will have the best of both worlds: a brand new home that's perfectly suited to their growing family, and a great location in the city.

Sturgis, Michigan

This decrepit old cottage is getting a major overhaul. The existing structure will be completely demolished down to the foundation and rebuilt, with a fresh layout, from the ground up. In the end, a new beautiful lake cottage will take the place of this eyesore.
