East Meets West

Inspired by a visit to the Raffles Hotel in Singapore, design elements

of the historic hotel are incorporated into this new home in Park Ridge, Illinois.

The spacious kitchen features an island, walk-in pantry, desk area, and large windows atop a stone plant sill. A mix of counter surfaces and the handmade tile backsplash, with iridescent glass tiles, play beautifully with the custom cherry cabinetry. Three Scavo glass pendants complete the feeling of comfortable elegance.
